NE-YO SELLS OUT RADIO CITY

Saturday night, Feb 22nd at Radio City Music Hall, I experienced one of the best concerts ever. I saw NE-YO in concert!!! Opening for Ne-Yo were Electric Red, Jazmine Sullivan, and Musiq. These artists were ok but I was in Ne-yo heaven as soon as he came on. He glided down the stairs and he started with his hit song, "So sick" from his first album, In My Own Words. Mary J. Blige was in the building and everyone shouted her out. Then he sang his couples anthem, "Make it Work". Throughout the concert his voice, dancing and personality were all on point. Songwriting skills, check, singing skills, check, dancing skills, check, personality, check!! He ended with his hit songs, "Miss Independent" and "Closer" from his lastest album Year of The Gentleman. It was rock your body dancing, great control of his voice and great energy. He had everyone on their feet. No wonder R. Kelly dropped him from the Double Up Tour in 2007. Ne-Yo is definitely a kandy King...posted by Ayana Francis.
