VIBE Magazine has been dispaying Kandy Kings on it's covers for more years than I can remeber. I've saved all my Tupac and Biggie covers. No clue on why, but some things you just can't throw away. But there are some things you can get rid of, big wigs at Viacom decided to do away with the traditional 5 day work week over at VIBE Magazine. Instead of laying off employees, the leading broadcast company decided to have staff come in 4 days out of the week and suspend 2 out of the 12 issues thEY produce yearly. According the The New York Post the company plans to introduce a new urban tabloid to appear on newsstands when Vibe will be doing double issues. Vibe's move comes right after The Source scheduled to auction off assets to satisfy a $3.9 million loan. I blame this on Bush, blogs and our bad economy.
