IS MADEA GOING TO HELL?

We've all speculated but there is no real proof on Tyler Perry's sexuality, one way or the other. So why is The Village Voice trying to force him out of the closet? And another question, why is this even important...check out the story below and leave your thoughts...
Tyler Perry is the hugely successful creator and star of the Madea movies, not to mention a top TV producer and mega kazillionaire. Even more interestingly to me, his mannerisms and aura are such that a whole lotta people within a mile of his finery seem to say, "He's a gay!" So, assuming the gaydar of millions is on target, why won't the guy come out already? Is he living on the down low? Is it because he feels his audience is largely homophobic? Well, if your message is love and peace and all that jazz, why would you want to pander to a bunch of haters? Doesn't Perry realize what a difference he could make by simply uttering a quick statement and being forthright rather than acting vague all the time and bringing leggy females to premieres? He could enlighten throngs of people, most of whom, I'm sure, would keep on loving him every bit as much! I mean, it's not like anyone that bright is going to go "Oh, so he's a femme? I can't support him now!" Come on, Tyler. Take off your dress for a second and call The Advocate.

  2. According to my hair dresser "The Fonz", Madea was birth from a famous drag queen in the ATL who used to do this character on stage. For Tyler to encounter the character may mean that he was a patron in the drag queen world. All I see is gay when I see him on screen. It doesn't even look "real" to see him interacting romantically with a woman. But who am I to judge??? That said, if anyone should come out the closet it's Queen Latifah.

  3. Me too...but come on hun, the man is gay-er than RuPaul. He doesn't even look believable when he interacts (on-stage or off) with a female (y'all know I'm right)...

  4. I agree with the rest of the world...Mr. Perry is gay. If you notice anytime he plays a male in his movies, he looks out of place. But when he put on that dress, he's right at home.

  5. Not a hater yall!!! Who am I to judge someone and speak on behalf of that person. Has anyone spoken to Tyler personally, NO! We all have assumed this terrible rumor to be true and Tyler is going on about his business(making money and spreading the Gospel). Saying: They talked about Jesus. Well power to you Tyler, keep up the good work and let the naysayers continue to speak. Tyler was #1 in the box office for Madea Goes to Jail. Not a hater just a congratulator.

    Keeping it real yall!!!!

  6. There is a difference between "hating" and having an opinion on what is relevant. The man is mos def positive and most likely GAY. When the GAY community calls you on something, its more than likely TRUE. Just like game recognize game...GAY recognizes GAY!!! I am not hating at all -- but I'm not blind either.
